Delete a branch

Deletes the branch identified by the given ID and all its associated texts. Deletion is processed asynchronously — the branch is immediately detached and removed from the project, then cleaned up in the background. The default branch of a project cannot be deleted. This action cannot be undone. Requires project-level settings management permission.

401Invalid or missing API key.

403Insufficient permissions.

404Branch not found.

409The branch is the project's default branch (default_branch_protected); make another branch the default first.

412The current representation does not match If-Match (precondition_failed). No change was applied.

429The API rate limit was exceeded. Wait for the number of seconds given in the Retry-After header, then retry.

500An unexpected internal server error occurred.

503The service is temporarily unavailable. Retry after the number of seconds in the Retry-After header.
