Set an explicit stack member

Creates or fully replaces an explicit assignment at the stack/workspace-member key. Both stack_role_id and the complete language_permissions map are required and non-null; an empty map clears explicit language rows. Repeating an unchanged role/map does not write. Workspace owners and current/requested stack OWNER roles are protected. Requires stack settings-management permission. Optional If-Match checks the current GET representation; * on a missing assignment returns 412. PUT omits ETag: GET the resulting assignment for a current validator. Inherited workspace access may exist independently of these rows.

Path Params
string
required
^stack_[0-9a-fA-F]{8}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{12}$

Public id that is created from the type prefix of the corresponding resource and its UUID. I.e : For a stack, a valid value would be : stack_0197c8f2-5a6b-7cde-8f12-3456789abcde

string
required
^wsu_[0-9a-fA-F]{8}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{12}$

Public id composed of the resource type prefix and its UUID.

Body Params

Request body to create or fully replace an explicit stack assignment's role and configured language map. Both fields are required; use an empty map to clear explicit language permissions.

string
required
^stackr_[0-9a-fA-F]{8}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{4}-[0-9a-fA-F]{12}$

Public id composed of the resource type prefix and its UUID.

language_permissions
object
required

Complete map of configured stack language codes to explicit permissions. The map and each value must be non-null; an empty object removes all explicit language rows. This is not effective access.

Headers
string

Optional precondition. Send the quoted ETag from a GET of this resource. The mutation only runs if a strong tag matches the current representation, checked under the write lock. A comma-separated list is allowed; '*' requires an existing representation. Weak tags never match. Omit this header for an unconditional write. For an action, use the ETag from GET of the target resource, without the action suffix. A stale tag returns 412; read the current state before retrying.
