Delete a distribution

Deletes the selected distribution and leaves its release history orphaned until the existing cleanup removes it, without activating a replacement or cancelling source exports. Optional If-Match checks the metadata GET validator under current ancestry and distribution locks. Archive cleanup and CDN synchronization use the existing deferred workflow; success does not prove edge convergence or immediate archive removal. Requires project-level settings management permission.
