List GitHub directory entries

Returns complete direct children of one directory at the supplied immutable commit, bounded to 999 entries and 2 MiB upstream. No cursor, limit, recursive scan or file download. has_more is false and next_cursor is null. Oversized, truncated or non-directory responses fail with 502 upstream_error; use known paths when discovery is unavailable. GitHub responses with 1,000 entries are rejected because its Contents API cannot prove completeness at that ceiling. Path-only format/language hints do not establish file validity or source language. Requires workspace-level stack or integration management permission.
