Merges supplied fields and nested context flags; arrays replace complete assignments. Null clears nullable fields. Disabling restriction clears its stored stack list. Empty or equal patches do not write. Managed engine routing cannot be changed. Optional If-Match uses the current GET validator. Requires workspace-level AI translation management permission.
